Lake District Wedding Photography

What a beautiful weekend to travel to The Lake District to capture the wedding of Kevin and Su, who chose to get married at Cragwood Country House Hotel on the shores of Lake Windermere.

The day was relaxed and stress-free from the off – perfect for my informal wedding photography style. I joined the bride and groom individually on the morning of their wedding to take some informal shots of their preparations. I then met them in the House’s historical main hall to document their emotional exchange of vows in front of their loved ones, close friends, and family.

The festivities kicked-off straight after, with a delicious wedding breakfast – complete with free-flowing bubbles to toast the newlyweds. Guests were able to enjoy the beautiful grounds of Cragwood Country House, before being invited down to the jetty to board a Windermere Lake Cruises boat. The celebrations continued aboard with a drinks reception as the happy couple and their guests took in the breath-taking views of Windermere and The Lake District. Everyone managed to keep their sea-legs and went on to party the evening away back at the main House.
